Rest in My radiant presence. The world around you seems to spin faster and faster, till everything is a blur. Yet there is a cushion of calm at the center of your life, where you live in union with Me. Return to this soothing Center as often as you can, for this is where you are energized: filled with My Love, Joy, and Peace.The world is a needy place; do not go there for sustenance. Instead, come to Me. Learn to depend on Me alone, and your weakness will become saturated with My Power. When you find your completeness in Me, you can help other people without using them to meet your own needs. Live in the Light of My Presence, and your light will shine brightly into the lives of others.

Additional insight regarding Galatians 5:22-23: The fruit of the Spirit is the spontaneous work of the Holy Spirit in us. The Spirit produces these character traits that are found in the nature of Christ. They are the by-products of Christ's control - we can't obtain them by trying to get them without his help. If we want the fruit of the Spirit to grow in us, we must join our life to his (discussed in John 15:4-5). We must know him, love him, remember him, and imitate him. As a result, we will fulfill the intended purpose of the law - to love God and our neighbors. Which of these qualities do you want the Spirit to produce in you? Comment below!
1st John 4:12 (NLT)
12 No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
Additional insight regarding 1st John 4:12: If no one has ever seen God, how can we ever know him? In his Gospel, John said, "The unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father's Heart. He has revealed God to us." (John 1:18). Jesus is the complete expression of God in human form, and he has revealed God to us (read Colossians 1:15-16). When we love one another, the invisible God reveals himself to others through us.
Amen. God completes us and not this world as others may this think. I depend and rely on him for he is my source. I want to love God and my neighbors as myself. I want God's character in me that I may represent him at all times.

ReplyDelete(03.09.24) Thank you Lord for Your Radiant Presence, a place that we can come to rest. I so much need a cushion of calm in my life. I sometimes forget that I have one. Father, in Jesus Name, I ask the Holy Spirit to remind me that I have You to come to. You would think that would be easy to remember. Thank you Lord for loving and caring so deeply for us. With You I am victorious. I am complete in You.
