Jesus Calling: March 8
Save your best striving for seeking My Face. I am constantly communicating with you. To find Me and hear My voice, you must seek Me above all else. Anything that you desire more than Me becomes an idol. When you are determined to get your own way, you blot Me out of your consciousness. Instead of single-mindedly pursuing some goal, talk with Me about it. Let the Light of My Presence shine on this pursuit, so that you can see it from My perspective. If the goal fits into My plans for you, I will help you reach it. If it is contrary to My will for you, I will gradually change the desire of your heart. Seek Me first and foremost; then the rest of your life will fall into place, piece by piece.RELATED SCRIPTURE:

11 Search for the Lord and for his strength;
continually seek him.
Matthew 6:33 (NLT)
33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Additional insight regarding Matthew 6:33: To "seek the Kingdon of God above all else" means to put God first in your life, to fill your thoughts with his desires, to take his character for your pattern, and to serve and over him in everything. What is really important to you? People, objects, goals, and other desires all compete for priority. Any of these can quickly become most important to you if you don't actively choose to give God first place in every area of life.
(03.08.24) Lord, I want you to be the center of my life, first in my life above all else. Father in Jesus Name, I am asking the Holy Spirit to give me more of a desire for You to be first in my life. Thank you for the privilege to come to you in prayer. Amen

ReplyDeleteOur heat was turned off because I didn’t pay my bill. I tried all day yesterday to make arrangements .. it didn’t happen. Spent another night without heat. I think Dear God how much can My family take? heat should not be turned off in the winter months. Then I thought about all those sleeping on the streets. Why in America where we give billions to other countries should this happen?? I’m so disappointed. Help me screw my head back on.
