Jesus Calling: March 31

Taste and see that the Lord is good. The more intimately you experience Me, the more convinced you become of My goodness. I am the Living One who sees you and longs to participate in your life. I am training you to find Me in each moment and to be a channel of my Loving Presence. Sometimes My blessings come to you in mysterious ways: through pain and trouble. At such times you can know My goodness only through your trust in Me.

Thank Me for the gift of My Peace, a gift of such immense proportions that you cannot fathom its depth or breadth. When I appeared to My disciples after it all. I knew this was their deepest need to calm their fears and clear their minds. I also speak Peace to you, for I know your anxious thoughts. Listen to Me! Tune out other voices, so that you can hear Me clearly. I designed you to dwell in Peace all day, every day. Draw near to Me; receive My Peace.

RELATED SCRIPTURE:

Psalm 34:8 (NLT)
8 Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!

Genesis 16:13-14 (NLT)
13 Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord, who had spoken to her. She said, “You are the God who sees me.” She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?” 14 So that well was named Beer-lahai-roi (which means “well of the Living One who sees me”). It can still be found between Kadesh and Bered.

John 20:19 (NLT)
Jesus Appears to His Disciples
19 That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.

Colossians 3:15 (NLT)
15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

Today's Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

We taste and see Your goodness, for You are the Living One who longs to participate in our lives intimately. Train us to find You in every moment, to be channels of Your loving presence to the world.

Even in the midst of pain and trouble, help us trust in Your goodness, knowing that Your blessings often come in mysterious ways. Thank You for the gift of Your immense Peace, which surpasses all understanding.

Just as You spoke Peace to Your disciples in their fear, speak Peace to us now, calming our anxious thoughts. Help us to tune out the clamor of the world so that we may hear Your voice clearly.

May Your Peace reign in our hearts every moment of every day as we draw near to You and receive Your calming presence.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

  2. The more I get to know the Lord I am finding out that He only wants good things for me. Sometimes in life I am put into situations that may are hard at the time, like my addiction. I am learning through Him what blessing I can gain from this experience. True humility, to humble myself and ask for help; appreciation for family members that I have taken for granted; my life, for so long I have wanted to die. Today I know it's a blessing from God to wake up and live just for today.

    1. Thank you for your openness about the struggles you face. I believe we all face similar challenges in one form or another in life - as intended to teach us how to be more reliant on our Loving Lord, along with learning to love and cherish those He has gifted us with on this life’s journey.

Your testimony is so inspiring! Don’t ever good up. Simply call out to Jesus, giving Him your burdens and thanking Him for the chance to see Him work it all out in His glory.
