Jesus Calling - March 18th, 2026

Jesus Calling: March 18

Trust Me one day at a time. This keeps you close to Me, responsive to My will. Trust is not a natural response, especially for those who have been deeply wounded. My Spirit within you is your resident Tutor, helping you in this supernatural endeavor. Yield to His gentle touch; be sensitive to His prompting.
Exert your will to trust Me in all circumstances. Don't let your need to understand distract you from My Presence. I will equip you to get through this day victoriously, as you live in deep dependence on Me. Tomorrow is busy worrying about itself; don't get tangled up in its worry-webs. Trust Me one day at a time.

RELATED SCRIPTURE:

Psalm 84:12 (NLT)
12 O Lord of Heaven’s Armies,
what joy for those who trust in you.

Matthew 6:34 (NLT)
34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

Additional insight regarding Matthew 6:34: Time devoted to planning for tomorrow is time well spent, time devoted to worrying about tomorrow is time wasted. Sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference. Careful planning is thinking ahead about goals, steps, and schedules, and trusting in God's guidance. When done well, planning helps alleviate worry. Worrying, by contrast, consumes us with anxiety and makes it difficult for us to trust God. Worries let their obsession with plans and outcomes interfere with their relationship with God. Don't let worries about tomorrow affect your relationship with God today.

  3. This hit so hard today. My daughter just found out she has cancer. She's 22. While I'm here with my daughter and 5 month old grandson, my mother is rushed to the hospital unable to breathe. (Her lips were blue) she's all the way on the other side of the state.

    2. God bless you and bring healing to your daughter. My daughter-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer 13 years ago when her son was 1 year old. Dr's said she had at the most 5 years to live and it's been 13 years. She is having a lot of trouble now and is not saved. I will pray for your daughter and grandson. God has their future in His hands and He knows everything from beginning to end πŸ™.
