Jesus Calling: April 4th
I meet you in the stillness of your soul. It is there that I seek to commune with you. A person who is open to My Presence is exceedingly precious to Me. My eyes search to and fro throughout the earth, looking for one whose heart is seeking Me. I see you trying to find Me; our mutual search results in joyful fulfillment.Stillness of soul is increasingly rare in this world addicted to speed and noise. I am pleased with your desire to create space where you and I can meet. Don't be discouraged by the difficulty of achieving this goal. I monitor all your efforts and am blessed by each of your attempts to seek My Face.

Today's Prayer:
Lord Jesus, in the quiet depths of my soul, I seek Your presence. Amidst life's noise and haste, help me carve out moments of stillness to commune with You and You alone. Strengthen my heart as I strive to seek Your face. Guide me to green pastures and quiet waters, refreshing my soul and leading me in Your ways. Amen.

DeleteKnow that feelings are not facts. They can be just another opportunity for you to seek God and trust Him for your community. God loves to be in relationship with us. You are not random; you are not here by mistake. God never makes a mistake. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image and likeness of an awesome God. You are His Divine Masterpiece, here on purpose for the appointed purpose He has set for your live. Try Him and see. He said seek Me and you will find Me, ask and it will be given. Trust and believe, He never lies, He's never late, He never loses a battle, He always wins, He never leaves or forsakes us, He's our constant companion. He will never fail to help us. He's a very present help in a time of trouble and He promised to perfect those things that concern us.
DeleteI often feel the same way. As though I'm in the wrong time and place. There's never a place that's just right. It helps if I remind myself that we are not OF this world, but we must still be IN it.

DeleteI have felt like this my whole life, 50+ years. I have had God as my closest friend, he was a man of sorrows and would have been alone carrying his burdens. He understands us. And is our comforter. Also, I get out in community and help look after others, which fulfills my need for social contact, and always do some work / volunteering to serve my community 💕 I ask God and he will answer our prayers as he sees best for us and teach us the things we need to learn . Amen

ReplyDeleteKnow that you are divinely planted in this world. You are here at the right time and the right place, planted by God for His Divine Purpose. Continue to seek Him concerning who you are in Christ, why you are here and getting to know Him, establish a true intimate relationship with your heavenly Father, there is absolutely nothing like it. He loves you, sees you, hears, you and knows you. He will perfect those things that concern you and send you a community beyond your wildest dreams. Dare to believe, dare to trust Him. He said Surely you shall see th goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, His word never fails, and He never ever lies.

ReplyDeleteNo wonder you both don't feel a part of this world. That's because it is getting more evil every day! Our political leaders are also getting more evil every day and poisoning the world. We must keep praying for our political leaders to choose good over evil and love over hate. We all must think of the common good and not just of ourselves. We all must love our neighbour as ourselves but let them know when they are choosing a path that is not a godly path.
