Jesus Calling: August 15th
I am the God of all time and all that is. Seek Me not only in morning quietness but consistently throughout the day. Do not let unexpected problems distract you from My Presence. Instead, talk with Me about everything, and watch confidently to see what I will do.Adversity need not interrupt your communion with Me. When things go "wrong," you tend to react as if you're being punished. Instead of this negative response, try to view difficulties as blessings in disguise. Make Me your Refuge by pouring out your heart to Me, trusting in Me at all times.

Additional insight regarding Psalm 55:17: Praying morning, noon, and night is certainly an excellent way to maintain correct principles throughout every day. Daniel followed this pattern (Daniel 6:10), as did Peter (Acts 10:9-10). The prayers of God's people are effective against the overwhelming evil in the world.

ReplyDeleteLuv this. I needed this. Gid wajes us to spend time with him. To he in his presence and to lead and guide us. God is my refuge and strength. I lean on his power and not my own. This is a great word and reminder to for us to look to God our problem solver. Trouble may come and we should look at as an opportunity for God to show out.
