Jesus Calling: August 21st
Wait with Me for a while. I have much to tell you. You are walking along the path I have chosen for you. It is both a privileged and a perilous way: experiencing My glorious Presence and heralding that reality to others. Sometimes you feel presumptuous to be carrying out such an assignment.Do not worry about what other people think of you. The work I am doing in you is hidden at first. But eventually blossoms will burst forth, and abundant fruit will be borne. Stay on the path of Life with Me. Trust Me wholeheartedly, letting My Spirit fill you with Joy and Peace.

23 and he prayed,
“O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven above or on the earth below. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion.
Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)
22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
Additional insight regarding Galatians 5:22-23: The fruit of the Spirit is the spontaneous work of the Holy Spirit in us. The Spirit produces these character traits that are found in the nature of Christ. They are the by-products of Christ's control - we can't obtain them by trying to get them without his help. If we want the fruit of the Spirit to grow in us, we must join our life to his (discussed in John 15:4-5). We must know him, love him, remember him, and imitate him. As a result, we will fulfill the intended purpose of the law - to love God and our neighbors. Which of these qualities do you want the Spirit to produce in you? Comment below!

ReplyDeleteyou must empty your heart out to god, tell him to take all your pain and be broken on your knees in private to him. tell him everything thats ever hurt you tell him all your pain ask him to take all your brokenness and ask him to show you how to love. he will show you love and how to be and give love. amen

DeleteHe will take it from you if you surrender it. If you look around, he’s probably already put the person in your life to help you
DeleteYou cannot give up alcohol on your own, in your own strength. Only by surrendering your will to Christ Jesus, and allowing The Holy Spirit to help you, will you be free from alcohol or any other addictions or vices. Self control is a fruit of The Holy Spirit. It is only with and through the help of Him that you can finally break free of the use of alcohol or anything else you want/need to give up. God bless you and prayers for your success.

ReplyDeleteI need them all, but my faith sometimes gets weak. To be honest, I sometimes question what is true. When I think too deeply, it fathoms my mind and faith because I then wonder who created God. We cannot be the only life in this entire universe, why were we put here on a planet that allows us to enjoy so much beauty and love, but then see so much war, hatred, greed and power hungry men. It’s like we have both heaven and hell. I pray and talk to God all the time and question this and sometimes feel like I am being sacrilegious. Please pray that I. A get passed this and just believe and have strengthen my faith
